The Wicked Wish Project

At Luna Y Leche, we believe birthdays matter.

The Wicked Wish Project was created to provide birthday cakes for children in Cochise County, Arizona whose families may be facing financial hardship, crisis, or other difficult circumstances.

A birthday cake may seem small, but to a child, it can mean being seen, celebrated, and reminded that they matter.

Through this project, we hope to bring a little magic to birthdays by offering simple celebration cakes made with love.

How Donations Work 🖤✨

Every $75 donation sponsors one birthday cake through The Wicked Wish Project.

To keep this project sustainable, 20% of donations are allocated to overhead costs such as ingredients sourcing, packaging, supplies, and operational expenses as a small home-based bakery.

Payment processing fees (through Square) are also deducted per transaction.

The remaining funds go directly toward creating and providing cakes for local children.

This structure allows us to continue offering cakes consistently, without turning families away.

Service area

We currently serve families in:
• Sierra Vista
• Hereford
• Bisbee
• Huachuca City
• Fort Huachuca area

As the project grows, we hope to expand throughout Cochise County.

How it works

The Wicked Wish Project offers a limited number of birthday cakes each month for eligible families in our local community.

How to support

You can help us make birthday magic happen by:

Hi, I'm Amanda

the heart behind The Wicked Wish Project.

Before anything else, I’m a mom.

And like many parents, there have been moments in life where things were tight, where birthdays felt heavy instead of joyful because I wasn’t sure how I was going to make the magic happen.

Kids don’t always understand the stress behind the scenes. They just know it’s their birthday… and they hope it feels special.

That’s where this project was born.

The Wicked Wish Project exists to bring birthday magic to kids who might otherwise go without. Through donated cakes and community support, we want every child to feel celebrated, seen, and loved on the day that belongs just to them.

Because a birthday cake might seem small to some people…

but to a kid, it can mean the whole world.

This project is built on compassion, community, and the belief that every child deserves a moment that feels magical.

Thank you for being here, supporting this idea, and helping us spread a little sweetness where it’s needed most.

🕯️🖤
